Sally Beauty is an American international retailer and distributor of professional beauty supplies 

The Objective

We were tasked with creating an engaging short video to display hair styling tools, for the ion product line. This particular video combined many tools including a blow dryer, flat, crimp and curling iron. We needed to display how simple it is to use these products while displaying the effectiveness of each tool.

The Challenge

Coordinating with the hair stylists and models to make sure hair appeared flawless on camera, at times this was a bit difficult as hair was frizzy, or finding the best angel to shoot a close up without getting burned was a challenge. Displaying various products with equal amounts of shots to illustrate effectiveness, needed to be strategically planned when editing into a short promo video.

The Solution

We approached this task with an energetic editing style that allowed for smoother transitions between products. We also used text to aid in the explanation of products. The aid of multi-camera set up also allowed the team to capture various angles, to get those perfect shots.
